Something Saturday - DSP & Blends

Image
Hi There Creators Today I thought I'd show off an idea that Claire our Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Development Manager showed us in a workshop the other day, I took it a bit further in one of my cards, let me know which card is your favourite! If you'd like to see all the goodies I used on these cards click here:  DSP & Blends Turtles Cards Here are the cards I ended up creating The first 2 I've just used the blends to go round each of the images on the designer paper, I really love the way the images get highlighted from it, almost a "stained glass effect" This first card I also used the blend on the white card base under the Designer Paper to give a border This second card I used the Blend around the edge of the Designer paper to draw a line  (I did use a ruler to do this!) again to create a border. Then this last one I've gone round the edges again with the darker Pool Party blend, but then blended in the lighter one in all the gaps. I actually did g...

Interactive Cards for August (Waterfall Cards)

Image
Hi There As the title says, this month we are doing Waterfall cards on Thursday 23rd August, as it is a mail out as well as "in person" class I have tried to limit the amount of stamping involved as I can't mail out pre-stamped bits for people, so if you do order this as a mail out kit, you'll just need to find a couple of appropriate sayings from your stache! Hi Everyone I feel like I say this every month, but Wow hasn't November gone fast! lol Classes next month are on Maryborough - Saturday 2nd at 10am (bring Christmassy party food!)  Kangaroo Flat Wednesday 13th 10.30am (again the Christmassy party food), and Laanecoorie Wednesday 13th 7pm (see the note at the end). These are the cards we'll be creating: first up I love this Eclipse Technique, very simple when you know how!  I've used the Large Letters Framelit dies   and the Musical Season Stamp set Card #2 This one uses the Christmas Quilt Photopolymer Bundle (stamps and dies), and also the matching Quilted Christmas Designer Series Paper . On to Card #3: this one uses on of my favourite stamp sets Every Good Wish Stamp set , inks it up with 3 different colours, and frames it :) And last but not least Card #4: this one uses the Tags and Trimmings stamp set, Be Merry Designer Series Paper , and the fabulous Everyday label Punch, which has rapidl...
