Something Saturday - DSP & Blends

 Hi There Creators Today I thought I'd show off an idea that Claire our Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Development Manager showed us in a workshop the other day, I took it a bit further in one of my cards, let me know which card is your favourite! If you'd like to see all the goodies I used on these cards click here:  DSP & Blends Turtles Cards Here are the cards I ended up creating The first 2 I've just used the blends to go round each of the images on the designer paper, I really love the way the images get highlighted from it, almost a "stained glass effect" This first card I also used the blend on the white card base under the Designer Paper to give a border This second card I used the Blend around the edge of the Designer paper to draw a line  (I did use a ruler to do this!) again to create a border. Then this last one I've gone round the edges again with the darker Pool Party blend, but then blended in the lighter one in all the gaps. I actually did g...

Something Saturday - Impossible Card

Hi there Creators I figured I'd try my hand at an "impossible" card today (not to be confused with the never ending card🤣) But, just quickly don't forget to check out the retiring bargains in my Stampin' Up! shop (there's some great reductions!😉) I think it's called "impossible" due to the fact it is made from one piece of A6 cardstock I used the gorgeous Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper and the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle (Stamps, dies, embossing folder)  I figured they actually went quite nicely together. The card I made up and showed in the video is this one: I wanted a pop of colour hence the butterflies ended up in Berry Burst with some of the lovely Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls on them then as I ended up cutting 2 sets of designer Paper I also made up this card , and coloured in the paper using Stampin' Blends (alcohol markers) so I could get graduation of colours. Classes for March

 Hi there Creators, Oh my goodness we're at the 1st March, where did the last 2 months go?!  Thought I'd better hop on and let you know what we'll be making for our cards in March. Classes are Friday 7th at 1pm my classroom in Laanecoorie, and 10.30am in Maryborough, the Wattle City Church 19 Argyle Road. Class cost is $24 for 4 cards Ok moving onto the cards themselves...... there are new Online products and I couldn't resist using some of them to create these😃  This first card uses Thankful Garden Decorative Masks ,   You are Remarkable Stamp set and the Hole Punch Trio . then this second card uses the same You Are Remarkable Stamp set, and the rather gorgeous Botanical Textures Designer Series paper and now for the twist....  The other 2 cards are "surprise cards"  You will get to pick the cards you make out of a selection😁 Don't forget to let me know if you're coming, and remember if you want to see the products I've used, click the link I...
