Something Saturday - DSP & Blends

 Hi There Creators Today I thought I'd show off an idea that Claire our Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Development Manager showed us in a workshop the other day, I took it a bit further in one of my cards, let me know which card is your favourite! If you'd like to see all the goodies I used on these cards click here:  DSP & Blends Turtles Cards Here are the cards I ended up creating The first 2 I've just used the blends to go round each of the images on the designer paper, I really love the way the images get highlighted from it, almost a "stained glass effect" This first card I also used the blend on the white card base under the Designer Paper to give a border This second card I used the Blend around the edge of the Designer paper to draw a line  (I did use a ruler to do this!) again to create a border. Hi Everyone, I thought I'd share what I taught at the party I did today, the hostess really likes the Beautiful You Stamp set so I created this card for the ladies to make: They had a choice of the new Sale-a-bration glimmer papers to choose from to put behind their row of hearts, this one uses the Sweet Sugarplum, but also available in the pack is Mint Macaron, and Bermuda Bay (they're officially available from the 20th Feb to 31st March)  Also uses one of the beautiful lace trim stamps from Delicate Details stamp set, and the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Then the other thing I wanted to show was the really cool Project Life Cards, so we created cards like these, using the 3x4" cards from 2 different sets of cards - All Year Long Project Life Cards , and Hello Lovely Project Life Cards .
