Something Saturday - DSP & Blends

Hi There Creators Today I thought I'd show off an idea that Claire our Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Development Manager showed us in a workshop the other day, I took it a bit further in one of my cards, let me know which card is your favourite! If you'd like to see all the goodies I used on these cards click here:  DSP & Blends Turtles Cards Here are the cards I ended up creating The first 2 I've just used the blends to go round each of the images on the designer paper, I really love the way the images get highlighted from it, almost a "stained glass effect" This first card I also used the blend on the white card base under the Designer Paper to give a border This second card I used the Blend around the edge of the Designer paper to draw a line  (I did use a ruler to do this!) again to create a border. Then this last one I've gone round the edges again with the darker Pool Party blend, but then blended in the lighter one in all the gaps. I actually did g...

Something Saturday - Bendi Cards

Hi there Creators,  I was deciding what to make for my Tutorial card (I'm part of a global monthly tutorial group called Crafty Collaborations, when you purchase $75+ of goodies from me, I send the whole tutorial of around 35+ projects out as a thank you).  Anyway, I was at the Picture to Page Show and the only stamp set I had with me was the Legendary Ride (motorbikes) with Ready to Ride matching designer papers , so guess what I used 🤣  and here is the card I created..... Anyway I was thinking it would be fun to make another similar card, and that I should do a video on it, so...... here is the card I made for the video I've used the True Beauty Bundle to create it, along with the Abigail Rose Designer Paper, Oh and not forgetting the Delicate Edges Dies! As promised the measurements for the Bendi cards: Take your A4 piece of card, cut it in  1/2 lengthways, then score it in 1/2 at 14.8cm With the front of the card you'll now cut it so you just have a sect...

Something Saturday - Delicate Edges Dies

Hi there Creators Today I thought I'd show off these gorgeous Delicate Edges Dies (they were on my "must get" list) and I haven't been disappointed!  I thought I'd show case a couple of unusual ways of using them, so here goes...... In the video I show making your own stamps out of them, using them as masks and more. This first card shows how I finished off the piece that I had masked back to back, makes such a pretty border!  I used the blending brushes to add the colour and I find it gets into the "cracks" easier than the daubers do.  I've used the Biggest Wish Stamp set for all these cards (such a handy stamp set!) And I couldn't resist using the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels , they just go with everything! Next up I've used the 2 negative pieces from the die cut and coloured in between them - remarkably easy to do with this die! and here's the actual piece that was cut out, I've used the fabulous Artistic Mix Decorative Mask...
