Something Saturday - DSP & Blends

Image
Hi There Creators Today I thought I'd show off an idea that Claire our Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Development Manager showed us in a workshop the other day, I took it a bit further in one of my cards, let me know which card is your favourite! If you'd like to see all the goodies I used on these cards click here:  DSP & Blends Turtles Cards Here are the cards I ended up creating The first 2 I've just used the blends to go round each of the images on the designer paper, I really love the way the images get highlighted from it, almost a "stained glass effect" This first card I also used the blend on the white card base under the Designer Paper to give a border This second card I used the Blend around the edge of the Designer paper to draw a line  (I did use a ruler to do this!) again to create a border. Christmas Decoration

 Hi there Creators,

I taught this decoration a couple of years ago, and one of my team asked me about it yesterday.  I though I'd done a video on it, but turns out I hadn't, so excellent opportunity to do a YouTube vid!

Here is the decoration:

Christmas Decoration, Patterned Paper, Stampin' Up!

It's so pretty and yet deceptively simple to make, I've used the 'Tis the Season Designer Series Paper, (DSP) which is currently 15% off this month (yay!) I picked out 6 different designs, and have alternated 2 in each layer.  To make the wreath itself you'll need

You'll need to make all your DSP Squares into cones, as shown:

and you'll need to draw your 3 different sized circles into 1/2 and 1/4's .

So now for the video.....

If you decide to have a go at this I'd love to see your creations!  do show me 😊

Are you're running low on Designer Series Papers? or just want to stock up?  this month there's a special on a heap of the papers for 15% off - yay for sales!  check them out here: Paper Sale

I hope I have inspired you to create!

God Bless love

Heather xox
