Something Saturday - DSP & Blends

Image
Hi There Creators Today I thought I'd show off an idea that Claire our Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Development Manager showed us in a workshop the other day, I took it a bit further in one of my cards, let me know which card is your favourite! If you'd like to see all the goodies I used on these cards click here:  DSP & Blends Turtles Cards Here are the cards I ended up creating The first 2 I've just used the blends to go round each of the images on the designer paper, I really love the way the images get highlighted from it, almost a "stained glass effect" This first card I also used the blend on the white card base under the Designer Paper to give a border This second card I used the Blend around the edge of the Designer paper to draw a line  (I did use a ruler to do this!) again to create a border. Class cards for June

Hi there Creators,
Well officially we'll be into the new Annual Catalogue, so I can finally start using some of my new goodies! lol, so guess what?....
Card 1:
New colours and new stamp set (what a combination!!) this set is called Daisy Lane, although I keep thinking Penny Lane (umm Beetles keep coming back lol), so I'm introducing the new colours Terracotta Tile, Seaside Spray and Pretty Peacock in this card (nice aren't they?)  and yes I spy a new ribbon too (eek so exciting)  Conveniently enough this stamp set happens to coordinate with a punch I already have (yay), the Daisy Punch, but wait there's another punch coming for the smaller daisy too (can't wait to get that one too!)
Have to admit this next set wasn't my favourite... till I started playing around with the dies, Ohhh, I'll just leave my comment at that! lol  the stamp set is called "It starts with Art" and the dies are called Arts and Crafts dies Oh and it comes as a bundle yay for bundles! (cheaper)
This next stamp set has such a cool effect! it's called Memorable Mosaic, and the punch - Timeless Label makes it into a bundle

And last but not least.... Oh my goodness this stamp set is one of those ones that everyone seems to love!, and it's so easy to use! its called Free as a Bird, and bundles up with the stitched Nested labels dies (which just in themselves are so handy!)
what do you think, which is your favourite?
Class dates for June are: Saturday 1st at 10am Maryborough, then Wednesday 5th 10.30am in Laanecoorie, and Thursday 6th 10.30 and 7.30pm in Laanecoorie.
Do let me know if you're planning to join in, and I'll pop you on the list!
Hope these inspire you to create
God Bless love
