Something Saturday - Cascading Pleated Fold Card

 Hi There Creators, I promised when I was showing off my swap cards from OnStage that I'd work out how to create a couple of cards I received. So, here we go, I have discovered they're called Cascading Pleated Fold Cards! (good start) Here are my 2 cards I made using this technique, I figured I could have a go at both landscape and portrait cards. 😍 The first one is made using the absolutely gorgeous Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper . It took a bit of cutting to get it right as I wanted each scene in front to echo the scene behind, but I think I got it! Then the card I made up in the video ended up like this, I've used the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper (which is happily continuing onto the next catalogue!), and the Ice Cream Swirl Bundle (again continuing on)   Although Sam (Mr 13 year old) did ask what flavour ice-cream is that meant to be?  I said Chocolate & Boysenberry (Hummm, Ok Mum....) 🤣 Anyway on to the measurements.... Cards for August Classes

Hi There, I say it every month, but wow another month has gone by again!  Time to reveal the cards you can make with me in September.   Class dates for these 4 cards are:  Saturday 1st at 10am in Maryborough, and Wednesday 12th at 10.30am and 7.30pm in Laanecoorie. As our new Holiday catalogue starts on the 5th September, we're doing a bit of a sneak peek with a couple of the cards on the 1st but should be well into the swing of things by the 12! lol This first card uses the lovely Beautiful Blizzard Stamp set and dies (they come as a bundle - yay for 10% off!)   there is also a saying inside the card that says "And you are extraordinary" Next card also uses the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set (not the dies this time though)  I had someone ask me how to use the "splotchy" stamps that are part of this set, so thought I'd better have a go with them!  Next I've gone back to the Annual Catalogue and using the Varied Vases Stamp set and punch , which

what have I been making recently?

Hi there, well I wonder what I have been making recently lol!  A quick trip into the craft room, a few photos later and yep I have been making things (oh thank goodness for that lol) First of all I thought I'd share this ultra cute little apron holder I made, it could hold some greetings cards, or business cards..... It's made using the Apron Builder framelits, and even though I'm not the worlds greatest cook, I still think it's cute (and I do wear an apron quite often when I am cooking - mainly to stop oil splatter!) Next up I thought I should make a couple of framed pieces for Craft Alive Bendigo (which is coming up soon 17-19th June) firstly using the new absolutely stunning Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper  Oh my! it really doesn't need extras to this paper, wow! Alright last thing for today!  Another framed piece, using the beautiful "Share What You Love Designer Series Paper" Again it doesn't really need adorning
